Shri Subhra Bandyopadhayay

Born in a family of lawyers. Passed LLB and LLM from Calcutta University. Practised in Alipore Judges court, Kolkata and consumers courts. Qualified in West Bengal Judicial Service examination in the year 1998 and joined West Bengal Judicial Service in the year 2000. Worked as Judicial Magistrate as well as Civil Judge (Junior Division) in several courts. Promoted to Civil Judge ( Senior Division) & Assistant Sessions Judge in the year 2006. Further promoted to ADJ, Fast Track Court in the year 2012. Promoted to the cadre of District Judge ( Entry Level) in the year 2013. Joined as District and Sessions Judge, Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 20.04.2026.
