Born on 10th Day of July, 1968. Passed BA in 1989 from Zakir Hussain College, Delhi. Passed LLB in the year 1992 from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University.
Appeared in West Bengal Judicial Service examination in the year 1996 and joined as Civil Judge Junior Division on probation at Alipore District Court, South 24 Parganas on 16.03.1998. And thereafter joined as Judicial Magistrate First Court at Alipore in the District of South 24 Parganas on 05.02.1999. Joined as Civil Judge Junior Division, Dubrajpur, Birbhum district on 19.12.2001.Then joined as Civil Judge Senior Division, 6th Court at Alipore, South 24 Parganas district on 26.08.2004. Joined as Chieg Judicial Magistrate, Raigunj, district Uttar Dinajpur on 26.06.2007.Joined as Civil Judge Senior Division, Asansol, district Paschim Bardhaman on 31.07.2009.
Promoted to the cadre of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court, Rampurhat, district birbhum on 02.011.2011 and worked at Nabadwip, district Nadia as Additional District and Sessions Judge on 06.02.2014. Worked as Judge, Bench-10, City Civil Court at kolkata on 06.04.2016.
Joined as ADJ 13th Court, Alipore, district South 24 Parganas on 07.02.2017 and then ADJ 2nd Court Siliguri, district Darjeeling on 10.07.2019 and worked as ADJ 1st Court, Siliguri, district Darjeeling on 24.12.2019 and then worked as ADJ Kalna, district Purba Bardhaman on 24.11.2021.
Thereafter promoted to the cadre of District and Sessions Judge and joined as District and Sessions Judge, Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 21.03.2024 and is working in the same post till date.
